Breast Cancer Breast Cancer Treatment Surgical Treatment

Surgery alone may not be enough to treat early-stage breast cancer

Although surgery is almost always used to treat early-stage breast cancer, sometimes there are some cancer cells that remain in the body. Also there is a small risk that the cancer may recur.
