Psoriasis Living with Psoriasis


People with psoriasis often develop arthritis


One out of three patients with psoriasis will eventually develop psoriatic arthritis, a potentially disabling disease of the joints. There is no way to tell, based on the severity of your psoriasis if you will get psoriatic arthritis, or even how severe it will be. Fortunately, new medications, called biologics, are available that help prevent the progression of the disease.
